1. Who we are
This website, monicaesguevaart.com, is run by Atma Publishing Company LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA (“we”), the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@monicaesgueva.com.
2. What we collect
Only what you send through the contact form: your name, your email address, the subject and your message. To limit abuse of the form, the server also keeps your IP address and your email address in its memory only, for at most about 70 minutes (the limit’s one-hour window plus a cleanup interval), and loses them on any restart; they are never written to disk. A daily counter of all messages holds no IP or email address. Our server log records one line for each message you send; for a message that passes validation, that line holds your email address partly masked. It never holds your name, subject, message or IP address. Like any website, our host’s request log records the IP address of every visit, kept for the host’s log retention period.
3. Why, and on what basis
To answer your inquiry and any follow-up you ask for. The legal basis is taking the steps you ask for before any agreement, and our legitimate interest in replying to messages sent to us. The IP and email address held for the rate limit protect the form from abuse: our legitimate interest in the site’s security.
4. Who processes it for us
- Resend: delivers your message to our inbox, and keeps its own log of the email sent, in the United States, for the period its plan sets.
- Google Workspace: our inbox, info@monicaesgueva.com.
- Railway: hosts the website and its server log.
- Cloudflare: network delivery, only while the domain is proxied through it.
We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
5. International transfers
We and these providers are based in the United States; where the law requires, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your message in our inbox as long as we need it to answer you and follow up, and delete it when you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Resend’s copy of the sent email is kept for the period Resend’s plan sets; the masked server log line for Railway’s log retention. The IP and email rate-limit entries are gone within about 70 minutes, or on any restart.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@monicaesgueva.com. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no trackers or analytics, so there is nothing to consent to.
9. Changes
We will update this page if what the site does changes; the date above shows the last change.
